For District Partners

Bring on a Northwestern student

District teams can post needs and host students across a range of roles — from project management and administrative support to data analysis and program support.

Bring on a student in three steps

  1. Tell us what you need

Send a short description of the work: what the student would do, the skills that would help, rough hours per week, and over what stretch of time. A few sentences is plenty to start.

  2. We'll shape the role together

We'll turn your need into a clear opportunity and help you find the pathway and student level that fit best.

  3. We'll handle onboarding

Once a student is identified, we'll guide you both through onboarding, including the background check most placements require. You focus on the work.

To get started, email kristen-perkins@northwestern.edu with a brief description of your need — or reach out with a question and we'll take it from there.

Walk your student through onboarding

Placements typically involve a background check and a few onboarding steps before a student's first day. See the full sequence.
